About Me

        My name is Emmi and I am the owner of Viila Nail Studio, pronounced V-ee-laa. I started my love for nails as a young girl going to get my nails done with my grandmother at this local salon. I vividly remember the care that the nail technician Vicki had put into my nails and fell in love with doing nails. After many years of doing my own, I made the decision to start my own studio. At Viila Nail Studio my focus is on maintaining your natural nails whether you’re looking to grow them out or keep them looking fresh. With detailed cuticle work, education, and the use of high-quality nail products we can work to achieve your nail goals. I want to be able to provide you with the individualized care that I grew up with. 

 

        A little bit about myself, I am a Queensbury native and am also a Dental Hygienist by day. I have a passion for all things teeth and wanted to add my passion for nails to my life and share it with all of you. I received my nail education from the American Beauty Institute in New York City and have furthered my education by taking courses on cuticle care, structure gel application, and nail art. 

 

       Three fun facts about me are that I am half Finnish and speak the language, despite being a hygienist I would do anything for candy and I danced professionally.
